"When I started working with Faye at Grooming for Growth, I was an overwhelmed, overworked and underpaid dog groomer. I loved my job, but I struggled to balance my business with being a mum.

When I found out I was expecting my third baby, I panicked! I had no idea how I could take time off and keep my business running, especially as I hadn’t been able to have proper maternity time with my first two children.

Faye completely changed the way I looked at my business. She helped me understand how to employ someone and build a business that could run without me being there every day.

Thanks to her support, I’ve now employed someone full-time and I’m able to take a full 9 months off with my third baby — something I never thought would be possible!

We’ve also moved into a bigger salon so we can now have two of us working together and continue to grow.

"I started my dog grooming course in spring 2024 when I was on maternity leave with my 2nd child.

I naively thought I’d qualify and the clients would flock and it’s that simple 🤣 I knew NOTHING about running a business, social media, marketing - literally nothing.

I had my little paper diary, I posted the odd before and after on social media and really believed that was all that was to it. I think I responded to something Faye posted and she got in touch and told me about her Grooming for Growth programme.

I was skeptical at first, I didn’t have the money upfront but she put me on a payment plan and it was difficult to say no to. I signed up and am sooo glad I did. Faye was always at the end of the phone responding to my many many questions. Nothing was too much trouble. I was never made to feel daft for asking anything, just unwavering support.

She’s helped me in ways she’ll never actually know. The programme was so detailed and the content plans were a life saver. I look back now and giggle at myself thinking I knew what I was doing. 2 years into having my own business and still learning but got such a better grasp of things thanks to Faye! 🖤"
